Delicate and bright, our 2023 Chardonnay opens with a fresh floral nose. Hints of pear and citrus are framed by a flinty minerality. To retain the intensity and freshness of our mountain-grown Chardonnay, we maintain a low pH with no malolactic fermentation. This classic Chablis-style keeps the wine vibrant and lively with a linear acidity from the front to the back of the palate. Possessing terrific energy, it will continue to develop and evolve for many years to come.

Consistent, mild temperatures throughout the summer and fall made 2023 one of the longest growing seasons in a decade. Following a wet winter, we had ideal conditions through bud break, bloom, and set. The warm (but never too hot) weather allowed the grapes to develop slowly and evenly, extending hang times for complex and well-balanced flavors.
